It has been a long three to four days for us, out of the blue Sunday Brynn got sick. She had shown no signs or symptoms throughout the day that she didn't feel well. Dan, Sarah, Josh and I met Sunday afternoon to go running while Chelsea watched Brynn and Olivia. They played and everything was fine. Later that day we ordered pizza and watched a movie and Brynn still seemed fine. Then that evening around 530 or 6 she threw up all over Josh, he always seems to be her favorite target. We thought it might of been a fluke though because she seemed fine after that. We gave her a bath to get her cleaned up and then she played for awhile and seemed fine so we decided to go ahead and give her cereal and her nighttime bottle. She ate both and kept it down. Then about 2 am she woke up coughing and puking everywhere again. So we got her and her bed all cleaned up and I went out and got some Pedialyte. I know now to keep it on hand so I don't have to make runs to the drugstore at 3 am ever again. So we were up with her til about 430 am. Then Monday morning she had diarrhea and still wouldn't eat anything so my parents came up to watch her so I could work and took her to the doctor and she had lost 11 ounces since last week when she was there. The doctor had them feed her two ounces and wait 20 minutes to see if she kept it down, which she did. So then two hours later she got another 2 ounces and kept it down. So she waited to daddy got home and fed her to throw up again. I had to hold her all night Monday night, that is the only way she would sleep. So she wasn't keeping anything down so Tuesday morning we went back to the doctor and she had lost another 6 ounces so they admitted her to the hospital due to dehydration. I knew it was going to be the quickest way to get her better. He said it is just so hard for them when they are that little to get caught up again without the IV fluid. It was just so sad seeing her get the IV put in and to make matters worse they had to do it twice because it got infiltrated. She was there for 24 hours and you could tell she started feeling better by last night. She wanted to play but just didn't have much energy. I stayed at the hospital with her last night. She kept waking up and you could just tell she was scared.. she would calm back down when she would see my face. We got to come home this morning. She was so happy to be home. She is still pretty puny but you can tell she feels so much better. She is still sleeping alot and pooping alot but not near as runny. Hopefully this is the last we see of the flu bug in this household for this season.. now we are just hoping Josh and I don't get it this time around. Brynn is the one that started it last time too!

I'm so glad she's better! Albanye had the flu for almost 2 weeks back in January and then got RSV. Kailye has had something since Monday too. I'm hoping I don't get it! I'm sure it broke your heart to have to see her like that!! Hopefully she's on the road to recovery. We'll definitely be praying for you guys! GET WELL!
So sad to hear about your baby...I know it is the worst when your kid is sick. I will pray for you and hope it doesn't linger.
