Family and Friends

We had a busy but fun week. I worked last Sunday and Monday and have been off work since then. I picked my sister and Lincoln up at the airport on Tuesday morning, they came to visit for a few days. I was so excited to see them, it had been since Christmas so we were due for a visit. Lincoln will be 2 in June, but is about 3 x the size of Brynn, but it is so cute because he is so good with her. He knows to be gentle and even has sympathy cries for her.. when she gets upset he would get upset too. I just wish they could see each other more often.

Tuesday afternoon we went to the ISU/IU baseball game. My cousin Matt is a freshmen at IU, and he is on the baseball team. We got to see him pitch for a few innings. It was pretty cool, even though it was for IU. It was so cold though, Josh took Brynn and LL back to the house so they wouldn't have to suffer through it. At one point I had a pair of mittens on my feet to keep them warm.

Then Wednesday we headed to Loogootee to see the rest of the family. We were just there for 24 hours but I hadn't been there since Christmas. We of course had to eat at Dairy Master, but it wasn't the same since I gave french fries up for Lent. I will have to go back after Easter and make up for it.

Then Thursday on our way back up to Terre Haute we went to Bob and Linda's to see the pony and cows. Lincoln thought it was pretty cool, at first he didn't know what to think but then he warmed up to the idea. He also got to sit on the tractor, he doesn't see too many of those in Long Island.

Then Friday morning they left to head back to NY. It never gets any easier to say goodbye. I think my mom, Brynn and I are going to fly there mother's day weekend. I am so scared to fly with Brynn but an extra set of hands will definitely help.

Then yesterday morning we ran our nine miles, yes, I did it! It was so hard this week.. it was warmer, which was nice, but the wind was horrible the last two miles. I felt like I was running as fast I could and getting no where.

Then yesterday afternoon, Garrett and Abby, and their two kids, and Dan and Sarah and O, all came over and we grilled out. I lived with Abby all thru pharmacy school and now that we have kids and they are in Evansville it is hard for us to see much of each other. It was so nice to catch up. We had a good time.

Today we are just getting the house back in order and doing some Spring Cleaning!! I am so ready for it to be here. I think ski season might finally be over for Jason, so I am super excited for him and Kelli to get their lives back!!!
