So Brynn had her 1st experience with the flu.. it was short lived thank goodness but still so sad to see her that way. It is hard telling where she got it from.. considering Josh and I are pharmacists and everyone we interact with is sick. I had never seen someone so small throw up so much. It made me so so sad. I called Jill, who works with pediatrics and Suzanne, whose kids were battling this a week ago just for some reassurance that I was doing the right thing. You know in your mind in the right thing to do but just feel so helpless so want to know that you are doing everything you can to help them feel better. Luckily, she didn't have the diarrhea to go along with it. She finally ate a real bottle this morning. I was leery of giving it to her but she was so hungry so I just gave her a small amount to see if she could keep it down and a half hour later fed her more. It has been 2 hours now and I haven't seen anything come back up and the good news is she finally had a wet diaper. Yeah!!
So now I just hope Josh and I don't get it.. obviously I would much rather be sick than have her sick.. but don't want it to be a continuous cycle.
It's me...again

When your kids are sick it is the worst! It just rips your heart out. I am glad to hear Brynn is on the mend and hope you don't catch it too!
Aww, poor little thing. I know it's been going around! LJ had it last week when we were in St. Louis and then Lacy got it. I don't know how I escaped that part of it, but I've been down this week with a head cold. Anyways, hope she is still feeling good and hope you and Josh don't get it!
